WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications: Your experience must provide evidence of the following: Knowledge of organizational, operational, and programmatic concepts and practices applied by public, private, or nonprofit agencies and organizations engaged in public health or other health-related activities. Knowledge of the methods, processes, and techniques used to develop and deliver public health or health-related programs in State and local settings. Knowledge of a specialized public health program. Knowledge of, and skill in, the application of administrative or analytical methods and techniques necessary for working within the framework of a public health or related organization and carrying out specific program functions. Skill in oral and written communications, gathering and conveying information, making oral presentations, and preparing reports, correspondence, and other written materials. AND Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Leading or managing complex behavioral health programs or projects, including leading team members and overseeing program operations and performance; Providing leadership, administration, service delivery, or policy development related to mental health and/or substance use prevention, treatment, recovery, or related public health initiatives; and Leading teams working with federal grant programs, including program monitoring, implementation, compliance, evaluation, technical assistance, advancing agency priorities, or performance evaluation.
