Within 7 days of your first Premium charge, request a refund from Settings or email [email protected]. Every request is processed within 1 business day. No phone calls, no haggling, just an email.
1. Who is eligible
Any user whose first Premium charge (monthly or annual) was less than 7 calendar days ago, on any payment method Stripe accepts. Eligibility is anchored to the timestamp of that first successful charge. Renewal charges are not eligible; the 7-day window applies to the first Premium purchase per user and does not reset on later renewals or re-subscriptions.
2. How to request a refund
Two paths. The in-app form is the fastest; email works for edge cases such as a locked-out account or lost session.
Option A · In-app form (preferred)
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Scroll to the Subscription section.
- Tap Request a refund. (Only visible within the 7-day window.)
- Optionally add a short note, then submit.
Option B · Email
Write to [email protected] from the email on your account. We respond within one business day.
3. What happens after a refund
- Your subscription is cancelled immediately. Premium-only features (hireability score, source-file export, the full template gallery, AI rewrites above the free allowance) stop working right away. Your resumes are not deleted; you keep read access and PDF export forever, on the free allowances.
- The refunded amount returns to your original payment method. Stripe processes refunds in 5 to 10 business days; banks vary.
- Your monthly smart edits are zeroed. Any already spent stay spent.
4. After the 7 days
We do not do partial refunds, prorated refunds, or negotiated refunds for older charges. The trade-off works in your favor: there are zero auto-renew tricks, no hidden trial upsells, no "cancel costs $5" fees, and no requirement to schedule a call. You can cancel any time after the 7-day window from Settings and keep Premium access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Disputes / chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank instead of using the refund form, we revoke access immediately when Stripe notifies us of the dispute. We will always honor a refund request inside the 7-day window if you ask us first; please do that before going to your bank, because chargebacks cost both sides time and fees that the no-questions-asked refund avoids.
6. Why this policy exists
The resume-builder category has a long history of $2.95 trial traps, $24.95 surprise auto-renew charges, and refund-blocking support flows. We do not do that. The 7-day refund is real, the request takes one minute, and the policy lives at its own URL on purpose so you can verify it before you pay.
