The story
CVHive started as a frustrated weekend project. The founder spent two evenings comparing resume tools, writing fake users, and uploading the same PDF into every screening system we could find a free trial of. A few patterns kept showing up.
Most builders sold a beautiful preview that broke the moment it hit a real screener. Most AI tools wrote prose that was too soft for a resume. Most pricing pages had a free tier that turned into a paywall the moment you tried to download anything useful.
We wanted a tool that started where the work happens: a block-based editor with an honest live PDF, AI tuned for resume lines instead of paragraphs, and based on how the big screening systems actually read documents.
