A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience in developing advertising programs and selling commercial advertising. Knowledge of Commercial Sponsorship &Advertising Practices. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotion using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to establish a professional rapport with activity managers and sponsor representative of varying management levels. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": One (1) year of professional experience in advertising, soliciting sponsorship, and/or another sales-related field. Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official.
