BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school. (Valid documentation will be required upon hire.) Must have 2 years of custom framing experience utilizing various framing machinery and hand tools. Strong knowledge of measuring and calculating sizing for artwork with strong attention to detail. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, using stairs up and down, reaching, lifting, gripping, squeezing. Must be able to carry objects up to 20 lbs. independently. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends and evenings. Knowledge of basic accounting and cash handling, and ability to complete Cash Handling Training Course before handling fund and Refresher Course once per year. Able to work at various MCCS Arts and Crafts locations around Okinawa based on the staffing needs of each facility. Ability to exhibit knowledge of composition, design, and color. Intermediate level ability in operating Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate orally and in writing using tact and courtesy. Possess strong organization skills and attention to detail; a team player and fast learner, actively look for ways to assist customers and be able to take constructive criticism.
