To qualify at the GS-11 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis: Interpreting and applying laws, regulations and policy during audits, or inspection activities, or compliance activities Preparing professional audit reports, or inspection reports or investigation reports for dissemination to the public, or audit target, or inter agency/organization Interacting with the public face to face and through electronic and/or written communications; AND Conducting at least one of the following: ISO related audits, marine inspections, educational institution audits OR inspections, instructing practical assessments, OR investigating casualties or product and/or system failures.
