Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing some or all of the following duties: 1.) Providing expert field engineering, technical advice, and instruction to naval commands for the operation, installation, and repair of F/A-18 avionics and electrical systems; 2.) Serving as a primary liaison with NAVAIR, vendors, and Fleet Support Teams to address engineering and design challenges; 3.) Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver program support and resolve emerging issues affecting fleet readiness; 4.) Collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Program Manager, Air (PMA), Fleet Support Team (FST), and Type Command (TYCOM) within the F/A-18 program's operations and sustainment; and 5.) Applying expert-level knowledge independently to resolve complex technical issues on the F/A-18 platform.
