Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) with a major or equivalent, or a combination of courses totaling at least 24 semester hours in international law and international relations, political science, economics, history, sociology, geography, social or cultural anthropology, law, statistics, or in the humanities; OR 12 semester hours in one of the above disciplines and 12 semester hours in statistics/quantitative methods. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Monitors and analyzes political and military developments to support command strategy and policy planning, preparing detailed reports and briefing materials for senior leadership; (2) Provides expert advice and support to command leadership on international relations and political-military issues, coordinating with US interagency and ROK counterparts to ensure alignment of strategic objectives; AND (3) Plans and coordinates political-military and civil engagement initiatives, such as development of engagement strategies, event execution, and assessment of program effectiveness, supporting theater-level exercises and interagency forums.
