To be qualified for the GS-12 Management Analyst, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as applying a basic foundation of administrative concepts, principles and practices, and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and support operations. Examples of such experience are: analyzing office procedures to ensure they meet organizational needs; analyzing and evaluating data and information for reporting purposes; communicating with management, other agencies and external organizations to resolve issues; developing and implementing operating procedures; analyzing and evaluating information to create data reports.
