In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as providing technical advice, recommendations or participation in the development of goals that align program and organizational unit objectives; developing and/or applying emissions inventories to support Clean Air Act implementation; and advising employees on policies and procedures. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as providing leadership, oversight, and recommendations on theories, principles, practices, standards, and methods in environmental engineering and the physical sciences; developing and/or applying emissions inventories to support Clean Air Act implementation; and establishing or monitoring performance measures to assess team effectiveness, efficiency, and progress.
