The course work must have been completed at or accepted by a regionally accredited U.S. college or university. Specialized Experience Requirement (5 years): Specialized experience is experience gained in teaching, educational research, development of educational materials and aids, educational testing, educational administration, or comparable activities in an elementary and/or secondary school which has clearly demonstrated success in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of education and familiarity with current developments in PreK-l2th grade education and training. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS). Examples of acceptable specialized SIS experience include: Experience in collecting, managing, extracting and analyzing data for the support and evaluation of school education programs; experience developing reports, filters, queries, etc. and retrieving and presenting data from data management systems; experience working cooperatively with others by serving as the subject matter expert for all SIS program modules and other management information systems; experience training and supporting educational managers, teachers, etc. in the use of data management systems, including registration, scheduling, attendance, and grading systems. Professional Licensure/Certification Requirement: Applicants must be currently certified or certifiable under the current DoDEA standards in any PreK-12th grade endorsement area.
