Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Directing, managing, and providing policy guidance and oversight of financial management personnel, activities, programs, and operations Providing expert accounting advice and guidance to senior leadership; managing financial and accounting programs and policies Recommending program and major project initiatives Preparing annual financial reports; and resolving program problems.
