GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing U.S. Navy surface ship maintenance programs, policies, and processes. Experience utilizing shipboard mechanical, electrical, auxiliary, propulsion, combat systems, and hull systems. Experience operating with Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Current Ship's Maintenance Project (CSMP), and maintenance planning processes. Experience conducting ship repair and modernization availabilities, including depot, intermediate, and organizational-level maintenance. Experience serving as an expert with engineering principles, standards, and practices applicable to naval vessels. Experience performing with Navy maintenance databases and information systems used to track maintenance actions and material readiness. Experience coordinating risk management principles and engineering problem-solving methodologies. Experience administering applicable Navy instructions, technical manuals, and engineering specifications governing ship maintenance.
