Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Maintaining an accurate status of all emergency response equipment and personnel to assure prompt and accurate response; 2) Responsible for assuring personnel assigned to the shift carry out work assignments in accordance with instructions; and 3) Provide emergency police, fire and medical services to the public by answering emergency 911 calls ensuring emergency service personnel respond with appropriate personnel and equipment and give pre-arrival instructions to callers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). NOTE: This Installation does not have the intervening grade at the GS-09 level. Time in Grade will be considered at the GS-08 and GS-09 levels of experience.
