QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must (a) hold a bachelor's degree or higher that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, OR (b) possess a combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTORS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Applicants will be evaluated on the following: 1) Academic Accomplishment (Master's Degree is preferred) in Political Science, Public Policy, and Sociology or a closely related field. 2) Demonstrated ability to lead, synchronize, and execute multiple complex programs and diverse lines of effort to achieve organizational goals. 3) Ability to communicate organizational goals clearly, assign work effectively, and provide technical and administrative guidance to staff and peer colleagues. 4) Demonstrated capacity and proven ability to plan, develop, allocate, monitor, and execute operational budgets supported by private donations, philanthropic grants, corporate sponsorships, donor funding, or non-governmental sources. 5) Ability to direct and execute comprehensive co-curricular and extracurricular programs, as well as experiential learning initiatives.
