TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. One year at the GS-11 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the speacialized experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply. To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, you must meet the following: Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Directing and overseeing a variety of administrative activities, establishing priorities, and evaluating work performance of subordinates; Provides technical advice and assistance on the management and disposition of seized assets; Updates management on the current status of activities, and conducts briefings on complex and controversial cases or issues; Oversees contractors' management and control of assets to ensures that contractors deliver required services; AND Ensures compliance with applicable financial regulations and policies in the execution of asset forfeiture transactions.
