GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector operating radio and telephone equipment in conjunction with a computer aided dispatch system; handling emergency and administrative calls for service; disseminating information from callers to security, fire and medical personnel; vigilant monitoring of emergency personnel during response and after arrival. Conditions of Employment continued: ~ This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use ~ The incumbent may be required to perform moderate to arduous physical exertion and/or duties of a hazardous nature. ~ The incumbent will be required to take medical examinations to assess his/her/their medical qualifications for duty involving work with exposure to high levels of stress present, have color vision adequate to distinguish between green, red, and yellow lights on alarm and equipment controls panels and to read information from a multicolored computer screen and have adequate hearing for voice and tone. ~Incumbent is required to complete all training requirements listed in the United States Marine Corps Emergency Dispatch Services Training Strategy to maintain emergency services dispatcher qualifications and certifications to include but not limited to: - FEMA NIMS/ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800. - Telecommunicator I/II.- CPR/AED certification. - Certification to operate required federal Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) such as NCIC. - Hazardous Material Awareness. - Foundations, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Fire Service Dispatch and Law Enforcement.
