The minimum of a Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Five years of senior management experience that would demonstrate the capability to effectively plan, coordinate, budget, execute and direct a complex Marine & Family Program operation, is required. Skills to manage rapidly expanding programs exercising foresight, flexibility, and imaginative approaches to program development, growth and change. Ability to resolve or negotiate a variety of sensitive problem situations, knowledge and ability to make decisions and recommendations concerning a variety of Marine & Family Programs. Ability to effectively communicate and deal effectively with senior military and civilian officials. A thorough knowledge of business practices, economic principles and ability to analyze trends and make improvements. Knowledge of budgetary principles to include preparation, execution and the ability to analyze trends and initiate appropriate actions. Knowledge of military life and the resulting issues affecting military families and their lifestyles.
