Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One Year Specialized Experience which includes:1) development of all administrative processes and implements, initiates, reviews, coordinates, monitors and advises personnel on these processes. 2) Independently directs actions throughout the office to satisfy administrative taskings and requirements in an effective and timely manner. 3) Independently plans, manages, develops, and controls a wide variety of administrative services necessary for the day-to-day operation, both routine and unusual. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Proficiency required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
