Specialized Experience for the GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes performing, planning, and managing the daily administrative functions of an office, including leading or directing staff in areas such as financial support, personnel matters, travel administration, time and attendance, or other areas of office support; using an automated financial management system; and implementing administrative policies/procedures to enhance support service functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
