You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level or GS-13 Grade Level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Experience conducting legal research and analysis, preparing legal memoranda, drafting briefs, engaging in civil discovery, and appearing before courts or tribunals in civil or administrative cases; and Experience in one of the following subject matter areas: banking or financial services law; administrative law including legal challenges brought under the Administrative Procedure Act; or personnel law, including in cases pending before district courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, or the Merit Systems Protection Board. AND Must be an active member of the bar of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
