You must meet the Basic Requirements and the Specialized Experience to qualify for the IT Project Manager, as described below. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must meet ALL statements below to be found qualified. Qualifying specialized experience for GS-15 includes: Experience leading enterprise modernization efforts and migrating complex legacy systems to Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)-authorized cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance performance, security, and efficiency. Experience developing and implementing cloud strategy, governance, and policy frameworks aligned with OMB, NIST, Zero Trust, and agency requirements to ensure secure, consistent cloud adoption. Experience providing authoritative guidance on cloud architecture, including multi-cloud integration, containerization, DevSecOps, AI solutions, and enterprise automation for mission-critical systems. Experience managing a complex multi-account environment with challenging agency-level billing processes.
