Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience interpreting Federal, State, local, and Navy environmental regulations to manage and ensure compliance for hazardous and regulated medical waste programs. Experience analyzing and translating complex regulations into actionable procedures, guiding critical decisions during audits, and establishing annual command environmental goals. Experience utilizing safety protocols, proper segregation, and packaging techniques for potentially infectious medical waste to mitigate exposure risks for staff, patients, and the public. Experience conducting personnel training, liaising with regulatory inspectors, generating compliance reports, and utilizing the Environmental Management System (EMS) Web or similar for tracking and metrics.
