Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Experience providing guidance and advice on Foreign Disclosure Program policies such as requirements, limitations, and risks of information exchanges with foreign groups. AND 2) Experience managing the Foreign Disclosure program to include program planning, advising subordinates on administrative matters; work priorities and /or training needs. AND 3) Experience applying security measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure of national security program information to selected foreign governments. Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
