You qualify for the GS-05 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-04 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Utilizing office automated systems to enter, retrieve, and manage human resources data. Completing, tracking, and maintaining electronic files and records in support of human resources programs. Responding to customer issues and concerns. OR Education: Successful completion of 4 years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and specialized experience may be used to meet the total qualification requirements for the GS-05 position. Tracking personnel files and records through the process of reviewing reports that identify personnel suspense using online systems and databases. You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Responding to customer inquiries after reviewing and validating source documents in accordance with rules and regulations. Analyzing verified information for processing and inputting into personnel systems and updating databases utilizing electronic and manual research methods. Maintaining, monitoring, and organizing personnel files and records within online databases to ensure data integrity and efficient retrieval. Creating and analyzing reports that identifies personnel issues using online systems and databases. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
