Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Museum Curator performing the following duties: 1) Managing the creation, design, and implementation of museum exhibitions including writing text panels, labels, and scholarly materials for temporary and permanent exhibits; 2) Responsibility for a museum collection or a sub-collection within a museum collection, including cataloging and inventorying of items in the collection; 3) Researching and acquiring relevant pieces to add to a museum collection; 4) Responding to questions from a variety of sources on naval history and items in the collection; and 5) Familiarity with the Beverly R. Robinson collection of historic prints.
