Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated interest and/or experience in public service, including prior experience in a Congressional office, government agency, civic organization, or public-sector setting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, well-organized work. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a professional, fast-paced environment. Willingness to take initiative, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute creative ideas. Preferred Qualifications: Preference given to recent college graduates or those soon-to-graduate who have demonstrated interest and/or experience in legislative operations and the day-to-day workings of the House of Representatives, and those with interest in or experience with agile software development practices such as human-centered design, user research, and user acceptance testing. Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
