Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade which includes (1) directing the formulation, justification, and execution of complex, multi-appropriation or working capital fund budgets; (2) conducting advanced quantitative and qualitative program evaluations to assess resource alignment with strategic objectives; (3) interpreting complex federal financial management policies (e.g., (OMB and FMR) to provide authoritative advisory services to executive leadership; and (4) supervising or leading a team of financial and program analysts to ensure financial audit compliance and optimize organizational performance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
