QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C for the WS-6600 Armament Work Family. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The screen out element for this position is the ability to do the work of an Aircraft Ordinance Systems Mechanic. Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles associated with egress and jettison systems. 4. Knowledge of applicable personnel, manpower, time, and attendance, and budgeting instructions, guidelines, and requirements; Knowledge of safety and security requirements as outlined in applicable safety standards, regulations and technical orders. 5. Skill in mental application required to plan and lay out work, to maintain alertness and concentration, or to maintain a certain degree of muscular and visual coordination; Ability to clean work area and/or job site upon completion of work. 6. Knowledge of tool, equipment, and materials accounting and security; Knowledge of USAF Technical Order Program and its procedures. OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS: 1. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. Work schedule will be aligned to allow incumbent to fully participate in Unit Training Assemblies (UTA). The incumbent's regular assignments are ART duties; however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities 2. May be required to fly in commercial and military aircraft to perform temporary/permanent duty assignments. 3. May work uncommon tour of duty. 4. May be required to work overtime. 5. Performs other related duties as assigned. 6. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. 7.
