TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. 52 weeks at the GS-11 is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. (Must submit your most recent non-award SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade, step, etc.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience working independently and that provided you with at least 3 of the 5 following areas: 1) Developing cost estimates for printing and distribution projects and/or negotiates cost and deadlines within an Agency budget. 2) Analyzing, developing and implementing policies, standards, principles and methods for managing an Agency-wide printing or graphic design program. 3) Using automated databases to track, prepare and distribute Agency mail and Federal Express activities. 4) Planning and directing the procurement of printing, graphic design, distribution, mail services, and/or warehouse publications. 5) Coordinating with management and commercial vendors to assure print projects meet the needs of the customer. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
