To qualify for this position you: 1. Must have held an FAA 2152 FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks); OR 2. Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility; (NOTE: An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since he/she has been performing the higher-graded work); OR 3. Must have held a MSS position or above for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility. NOTE: In addition, the qualifications listed above for MSS positions, the chart for MSS positions determines who may make application for MSS-1 through MSS-4 positions. Due to this facility having all career levels at the facility a CPC - MSS-2 levels would not be eligible to make application for the MSS-4. Applicants that currently or who have previously held a MSS-3 with 52 weeks of experience would be able to make application. If you apply and have NEVER held an MSS-3 for 52 weeks or meet the criteria mentioned in 1 above, you will be considered ineligible if you apply. NOTE: FSS falls under Systems Operations within ATO. FSS Air Traffic Controllers would need to meet the requirements listed above by having experience in Air Traffic Services (ATS) Facilities or as stated above. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
