To qualify at the FV-E (FG/GS-7/8) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-D (FG/GS 3 - 6) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience with medical terminology AND experience with computer software programs to prepare correspondence and tracking documents (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel). Applicant should include examples of specialized experience in their Work History. AND Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well qualified applicants will demonstrate experience compiling and reviewing medical documents and/or legal files in their resume.
