You may qualify at the SL-00 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience related to this position. This experience must be at or above the GS-15 grade level or equivalent. Your resume must reflect experience: 1. Providing effective senior leadership in an organization that involves progressively responsible supervision to subordinates including investment professionals (i.e., demonstrating management of people and resources, strategy, and prioritization); 2. Making investments in emerging markets, including direct transactional experience of varying type and complexity (e.g., direct loans, guaranties, equity, securitizations, etc.); AND 3. Evaluating, negotiating, and structuring complex financial transactions in international emerging markets. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
