Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying political, international, economic, historical, geographic, or related expertise and intelligence methods to produce policy‐relevant assessments for U.S. foreign policy. Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, the Intelligence Community, and other national security agencies, to carry out national intelligence activities and interagency processes. Experience briefing and drafting analysis for senior policymakers on terrorism trends in east, central, and southern Africa. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
