A qualified candidate must possess: Associate's degree in business or 3 years of experience in an accounting position. Two years of experience with Navy non-appropriated fund activities in an administrative or accounting capacity. Knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures to include double entry bookkeeping, accounting transactions, maintaining, balancing and examining accounting records to verify accuracy. Knowledge of basic federal procurement principles and practices. Ability to maintain various types of records and reports requiring accuracy in selecting, posting and consolidating data. Ability to operate a variety of office machines to include a computer. Must be proficient in Word and Excel. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must have and maintain a current driver's license.
