BASIC REQUIREMENT: A. Degree: Biological Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. FOR THE GS-12 GRADE LEVEL: Applicants who meet the basic requirements qualify for this grade level. FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-11 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates: Experience in software development as it applies to data workflows for data collection, management, and analysis. Experience working on visualization of complex data and project management. Experience understanding and addressing a variety of research needs and program priorities related to control of wildlife pests and/or disease management. Experience communicating with regulators or policy makers to develop decision support tools. Note: There is no education substitution for this grade level. This education must have been successfully completed and obtained from an accredited school, college, or university.
