AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1: All on board permanent and indefinite T5 federal employees within the Oregon National Guard Area 2: All on board permanent and indefinite T32 federal technicians within the Oregon National Guard Area 3: All current non-permanent technicians/employees (T5 and T32) of the Oregon National Guard Area 4: All current and former members of the Oregon National Guard (former members must provide documentation showing membership in the Oregon National Guard such as an NGB 22 or DD214) GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Work involves planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of manpower, machines, and materials in the fabrication or repair of equipment and supply items by mechanical production methods. Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. GS-09 - One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in duties that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Must have experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Applicants who meet one of the DoD Priority Placement Program categories below are eligible to apply with this preference.
