Specialized experience is experience in ??????? delivering technical expertise and program support, guiding the organization to achieve environmental compliance and effective resolution of environmental challenges for assigned environmental media programs air quality; water quality; hazardous waste; hazardous materials; Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants; solid waste; Environmental Management System; pollution prevention (P2); and toxics (lead, asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyl's (PCBs programs; managing environmental programs and budgets by developing strategic plans, administering contracts, and ensuring fiscal responsibility to meet the organizations environmental goals; collaborating with and negotiated favorable outcomes with federal, state, and local agencies, along with internal stakeholders, to address environmental compliance issues and resolve conflicts.. Ideal Candidate: - 2 years of experience as supervisor in federal civilian workforce - 2 years of experience supporting environmental compliance associated with the Air Force test mission - 5 years of leadership experience - 5 years of experience with oversight of environmental compliance - Direct experience negotiating with Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies - A highly adaptable and team-oriented candidate who takes initiative, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of multiple environmental compliance medias to include Air Quality, Hazardous Waste/Materials, Solid Waste, Environmental Management Systems, Water Quality and Tanks. 2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices and procedures. 3. Ability to plan, organize and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized element. 4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
