Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of MWR business operations to include supervising/managing a successful restaurant and food and beverage operation; knowledge of business policies and procedures, and marketing techniques. Successful personnel management is required. Must possess skill in written and oral communication techniques to explain, justify, and present ideas and findings on a variety of issues as well as skill in planning, promoting and administering programs to meet the needs of the community. Ability to make decisions and work effectively under the pressure of timelines and rigid deadlines. Knowledge of budget, proper cash handling procedures, financial management and internal controls in order to prepare, monitor, and revise budgets. Must possess skill in dealing with customers and the public. Must have a valid driver's license. This is a Drug Tested designated Position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Must be physically able to lift and carry objects weighing at least 20 pounds, occasionally moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Employment physical required. Must successfully gain certification of ServSafe Food Handling Management. Must be able to satisfactorily obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
